Bukit Jalil Development Sdn Bhd (BJD) has received Property Insight Malaysia’s Best Hybrid Development Award 2015 for its Aurora Place and Aurora SOVO @ Bukit Jalil property development. BJD, a subsidiary of Ho Hup Construction Company Bhd, said the award was a recognition of the numerous winning features of the project, including its strategic location in the centre of the designated Bukit Jalil City development, and the amenities and facilities in the surrounding areas, including the International Medical University (IMU) and Lai Meng primary school. “Aurora Place is a short walking distance from the upcoming Bukit Jalil LRT station, and it is right next to the future Pavilion Mall in Bukit Jalil and easily accessible via existing major highways,” said Derek Wong Kit-Leong, chief executive officer of Ho Hup. He said the development offered a unique and modern office concept set in a green environment, with all the convenience that compliments the modern lifestyle. The project also took into consideration such factors as affordability and accessibility to ensure it met the needs of the business and professional community it would house. Referring to the award, Wong said: “We view this award as a recognition of Ho Hup’s efforts in delivering carefully-designed, high-quality products to meet customer needs, and it will spur us further in our commitments in future projects.” Aurora Place a hybrid mall, comprising 64 units three-, four- and five-storey shop offices and five levels of basement car parks was launched at the end of 2012. Aurora SOVO, comprising 209 units of flexible office suites that sits above the three-storey shop-offices of the Aurora Place, was launched in 2013. The projects are fully taken up. Construction of the Aurora Place and Aurora SOVO is expected to be completed in third quarter 2016 and the third quarter of 2017 respectively. This would be 48 months from the date of the sales and purchase agreement.
